LaBelle Tonneau Automatic Watch

We kept looking for a specific watch: the kind you see in photos from the 1970s, a soft barrel-shaped case on a leather strap. Nobody makes that watch anymore. Not at a price a normal person would pay.

So we spent a year making it. A custom tonneau mold, not an off-the-shelf case. A guilloche dial that catches light the way old dress watches do. A mechanical movement that winds itself as you move, visible through a sapphire window in the caseback.

• Case: custom 35 x 45.5mm tonneau, 316L stainless steel, two-tone with gold bezel and crown
• Dial: linen-white guilloche, applied gold numbers, blue hands, small seconds, date window
• Movement: Peacock SL3006 self-winding automatic, 32 jewels, ~41 hour power reserve
• Crystal: sapphire, front and caseback
• Water resistance: 5 ATM
• Strap: quick-release leather, gold buckle, engraved LaBelle
